Our Staff

Adam joined the Quality Counts team in 2011 and is currently focused on business development. Originally from northeast Pennsylvania, Adam studied Business Administration at Bucknell University where he ran for the collegiate Cross Country and Track and Field teams. After his graduation, Adam lived along the east coast including Brooklyn, Charlotte, the Florida Keys, and Washington, DC where he currently resides. When not at work, Adam enjoys playing Trivial Pursuit, disc golf, and imbibing in a craft beer or scotch with friends.

Brian was born and raised in South Louisiana and is a graduate of Louisiana St. University. He is an avid sports fan of all things Louisiana. Brian comes to QC with an entrepreneurial background having owned and operated a variety of retail shops. When not working, he loves to cook and travel. His destination of choice is Brazil where he previously lived and likes to visit whenever he gets an opportunity.

Cyrus was born in Mindanao, Philippines and lived there until the age of 6. Since then, he has called Los Angeles his home but has also lived in Europe and Asia. He graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Urban Planning. Construction and transportation has been his career focus, so his role as an Operations Manager with Quality Counts has been a perfect fit. When not working, Cyrus enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, riding dirt bikes and basketball. He also enjoys being creative in arts and music. Most of all, he loves spending time with his girlfriend, family and friends.

From childhood, Daniel has possessed a natural drive that enables him to complete any task at hand. By the age of 16, he had already earned the highly-esteemed rank of Eagle Scout. Dan’s ability to produce quality work makes him a valuable team member at Quality Counts. He strives daily to be the best in every endeavor.

Dan is married and has three young children that keep him extremely busy. He enjoys playing princesses with his daughter and cars with his sons. He grew up east of Portland playing soccer, baseball, and basketball. He received a basketball scholarship to Cascade College in Portland, OR where he graduated with a degree in Business. He enjoys eating at Chinese food buffets, going for hikes, running Hood to Coast relay and half marathons, watching Shark Tank, and cheering for the Portland Trail Blazers.

David graduated from Salisbury University in 2008. He considers himself lucky enough to have played football in college and win two conference championships. After college, David owned and operated his own business for 7 years prior to beginning his career with QC. He is also a volunteer firefighter/EMT during the evenings and on weekends, serving the county he grew up in. David married his beautiful wife, Heather in 2014 and they are expecting their first child. They enjoy taking opportunities to travel, recently visiting the Dominican Republic, Istanbul, Turkey, Hong Kong, China, and Manila, Philippines. In his free time you can find David on the basketball court or riding his Harley.

Doug is a country boy at heart. Raised in a small town in eastern Oregon, he enjoys spending time at the cabin in the mountains and as much time in the outdoors as possible. If not in the mountains, he is on the river fishing. During spring and summer he can be found in his back yard working on his Better Homes and Gardens yard or delivering flowers to the community. Doug spent 30 years with UPS and brings an extensive resume and set of skills he obtained working his way up through UPS management. His desire is to make people, places and things better. If you want someone with a can do attitude you came to the right place.

Before moving to Florida in 2013, Erin grew up in Mississippi and went on to study mathematics and computer science at the University of Southern Mississippi. She loves to learn new things and is always on the lookout for the newest technological gadget. In her spare time, you can find her reading, spending time with her family, or jamming out to Earth, Wind, and Fire.

Glenn is a native Floridian, spending most of his life in South Florida before moving to Tampa. Glenn graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a BS in Business Management. Quality of work and customer satisfaction is, above all else, what drives Glenn. He also enjoys the ability to travel and see new places when projects take him there. In his spare time, Glenn enjoys raising his son, Gavin, and if the wife allows, a little fishing.

James enjoys the challenge of developing innovative processes to guarantee accurate, easy to interpret transportation data for engineering clients whose important decisions affect traffic flows, safety, and quality of life for communities. His experience studying economics at Cornell and UC San Diego provides QC analytical expertise combined with perspective. James is an avid runner and a native Oregonian who joined QC in 2012

Jay has lived in many cities and a couple of countries while raising his family of six. His adventurous spirit and business background led him to Quality Counts in 2014. Jay enjoys spending time with his family and grilling out. Jay is a hot-air-balloon pilot and loves to be in the air any time he can make the time to do so. His other interests include reading and participating in the Young Life committee in Hendersonville, TN.

Jean-Paul is a graduate of the University of South Florida. When he is off duty, you can find him spending time with his family or participating in sporting activities. Having grown up in the Tampa Bay area, Jean-Paul relentlessly cheers for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and anxiously awaits their return to glory. Jean-Paul enjoys being active in the community and considers the opportunity to be a positive influence to community youth a privilege.

An avid hiker and self-proclaimed gamer, John has been working with Quality Counts since 2008. John began his career as a traffic counter before becoming a VRC supervisor. Over the past two years, John has transitioned into an Operations Support role and now works out of Lubbock, Texas. There he assists the Operations Team with estimates, quality control, travel time processing, and other assorted functions.

Jon joined the Quality Counts team in early 2015 after relocating to Charlotte, NC from southeastern Pennsylvania. He graduated from Millersville University in 2013 and proudly holds a BA degree in Philosophy. He contributes to the management team in the Carolina office with his passion for problem solving and his skills with operational planning. Jon likes to laugh and tries to find humor in most things. In his free time he enjoys reading, playing music, hiking, and spending quality time with his girlfriend and dog. He is a sad, yet loyal, Philadelphia sports fan.

JR has been with QC from day one, and is its first employee. He has played a considerable role in helping grow QC from a single office to a nationwide company. In QC’s first decade, JR has travelled the globe, making stops in Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Rwanda, Azerbaijan and Abbot, TX to name a few. He made friends in every place he visited, and he looks forward to making many more. JR has been happily married for 25 years and is eagerly heading into the future holding the hand of his wife Fatima. JR and Fatima both feel incredibly blessed to have shared in the upbringing of two wonderful children.

Born and raised in Brighton, England, Luke joined Quality Counts as an accounting Intern 2 years before he was hired on as an Operations Manager in 2015. He is a recent graduate of George Fox University where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Management while playing NCAA soccer for 4 years. Luke is a self-described soccer fanatic. He also enjoys downhill mountain biking, rock climbing and water rafting.

Mark grew up in Clemmons, NC where he enjoyed playing countless hours of Sim City, an urban planning simulation game. His passion for city development led him to earn BA degrees in Political Science and History at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he focused on the regional impact of national political conventions. While not supporting the Charlotte office, Mark explores his passions for PC gaming, hiking, and skiing.

Nick originally started at Quality Counts while he was still in high school and has been back with QC since 2008. He is a big Green Bay Packers and Portland Trail Blazers fan. He likes to spend his free time relaxing at home with his basset hound and playing video games.

Originally from the Portland area, Peter has been working with QC since its inception in 2003. After his graduation from the University of Oregon, he left the Pacific Northwest and started QC’s office in Charlotte. He continues to call Charlotte home where he lives with his wife Lydia and their yellow lab Benson. Away from work Peter enjoys fishing, spending time with family and friends, and rooting for the Ducks!

Robert joined Quality Counts in 2008 and has acquired more responsibility each year. Quality Counts was a great fit for Robert since he has always been fascinated with statistical data. Robert loves working for QC because each project is unique and presents an exciting challenge to him. He is currently pursuing a degree in business management. Robert enjoys spending time with his wife along with admiring film and art.

Rodrikas is a graduate of the University of Central Florida - GO KNIGHTS! He started working in the data collection field as a technician while in college, and worked his way up to Quality Counts’ General Manager of the WDC Area. When outside of work he takes interested in many sports, especially football. His favorite team/the best team is the Jacksonville Jaguars. Being the oldest of 4 brothers spurs his love for competition in any activity and in the workplace. Rodrikas’ favorite quote is by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. - “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”

Rudy was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL and is the youngest of 4 boys. He started working with Quality Counts in November of 2015. Rudy is a big sports fan and his loyalty lies with the best NFL team in Florida, GO JAGS! He is also a father to a beautiful baby girl who he devotes most of his time to when outside of work. Other hobbies of Rudy’s would include flag football, watching movies, and playing his keyboard. He loves to travel and the next destination he wants to check off his list would be Puerto Rico.

Ryan Groesbeck has been with Quality Counts since 2012. He is a spiritual native of Vermont, and graduated from UVM in 2007 with a BS in Civil Engineering. He is a passionate Red Sox fan and enjoys reading, origami, and rock climbing. A life-long love of languages would leave him equally comfortable on the streets of Paris or Moscow. Ryan moved to Oregon in 2008 to marry his sweetheart, who he met through an online creative writing group. He currently lives in Portland with her and her two boys.

Steve recently joined the Quality Counts Team as Operations Manager for the Nashville Office. Previously, he was a labeling systems specialist and worked closely with production, plant, and packaging engineers. His professional background includes experience in law enforcement, customer service, sales, and project management. Steve is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys spending his free time hiking, fishing and boating. He is also a licensed amateur radio enthusiast, and has a passion for emergency communications, public safety and for helping people as a volunteer in his county’s Emergency Management Agency. He is a US Army and Army National Guard Veteran and served in the 101st Airborne Division. Steve and his wife, Janet, have four grown children.

Travis is a sports enthusiast. He hasn’t found a sport he doesn’t love playing, and he enjoys watching and taking part in just about any type of competition. He is motivated by challenges and always strives to be the best at anything he does. He once tossed a pencil up in the air hundreds of times before getting it to rest on the blade of a second story ceiling fan just to prove that he could.
