Why Work At Quality Counts?

Join the energetic, values-driven team of entrepreneurs at Quality Counts! We are a rapidly-growing transportation data collection company looking for people who want to:

  • Put leadership experience (from sports, school, and/or work) to use in a professional setting.
  • Work both indoors (client relations/marketing/project delivery) and outdoors (collect traffic data in the field using cameras, road tubes, and constantly-changing and improving technology/equipment).
  • Make a difference in the quality of peoples’ lives by improving the effectiveness of transportation planning and traffic engineering, here and abroad.

After more than a decade in business and opening ten fully operational office locations nationwide, Quality Counts has developed a culture that promotes the learning and growth of our staff and community. Honesty and integrity are critical to our team-oriented approach, which includes regular communication between teammates and managers, creative problem-solving, resource maximization, and customer service. We value highly motivated, detail-oriented teammates who take ownership in following through on commitments to peers and clients, while sharing a high level of mutual trust and respect with their co-workers.

Organization Structure

Corporate Team

The Corporate Management Team focuses on strategic initiatives that affect all areas of QC and serves to provide vision and clarity. The team consists of our CEO, Senior Management, and Financial Teams. QC’s Board of Directors works directly with the Corporate Management Team to create a vision of success for QC and our clients and to set specific goals that are critical in achieving that vision.

Data Processing

Data Processors collect, analyze, and develop accurate reports of traffic data. Competitive pay, flexible scheduling, a comfortable working environment, and part-time hours are just a few of the benefits that QC data processors enjoy. Dedication to a high standard of quality, our namesake, is a must!

Operations Management

Entrepreneurial and results-driven, our Operations Managers take personal ownership in the offices they run. They serve as the main point of contact for their clients, manage a variety of projects, coordinate the work of Field Staff, and support marketing activities. The dynamic role of Operations Manager invites a range of expertise and interests, allowing them to provide strategic input for the Corporate Management Team.

Field Staff

Field Staff work outdoors and in our warehouses with a high level of independence, installing, collecting, testing, improving and maintaining equipment, and executing other operational assignments and data collection projects. We depend on our Field Staff as the ground troops in upholding the standard of quality we’re named for. Many members of our management team began their careers as field staff and have grown into the professionals and leaders you now see.

Operations Support Management

A dedicated support team is critical to executing tens of thousands of traffic counts annually. Our Operations Support Management team regularly processes, analyzes, quality controls, and constructs customized reports for data collection projects across the country. During the busiest months at QC, Operations Managers rely heavily on Operations Support Management to take ownership of a number of client- and production-based responsibilities.

Hear From Our Employees

My main motivation for joining QC centered around the incredible growth potential. I am faced with exciting new challenges every day, and my colleagues provide me with the information and support to overcome any roadblocks. In my position, I have the chance to think outside the box and identify new solutions while continuing to learn and grow in my role.

  • Simo Benchellal, Houston (since July 2013)

I started in QC as a field tech and now I am managing the state of Florida. To sum it up, QC has provided an avenue for me to grow and in turn help QC grow. This has been a great experience and opportunity and will continue to be.

Quality Counts is an exciting, challenging place to work... I encounter a variety of fascinating problems, and all the technical aspects of our operations create a stimulating environment structured to guarantee we deliver our clients accurate, easy to interpret traffic counts. It is also gratifying to know that our transportation data plays an important role in engineering decisions which have an impact on traffic flows all over the country.
